Teacher Nicole (Pre-K “Rainbows” Class & Lead Preschool “Trees” Class)-Newberg (5 Years Teaching with The Good Life)

AA Early Childhood

Teacher Nicole joined The Good Life Preschool in the Fall of 2020 and brings a calm, grounded presence to her classroom each day. She currently serves as the Lead Teacher for our “Trees” Preschool Class and “Rainbows” Pre-K Class at our Newberg location.

Teacher Nicole has been teaching since 2015 and holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Over the years, she has supported children from infancy through age eight, in both childcare and elementary settings—assisting in early math and reading skill development. Her diverse teaching experience has given her a deep understanding of how children grow and learn at every stage.

“My experiences have taught me to be adaptable and meet children where they are,” Nicole shares. “I love preschool because children at this age are discovering their independence and are so eager to learn about themselves and the world around them. I believe a child’s growth is a shared journey between teachers and families—it’s truly a team effort.”

When asked what she loves about Teaching at The Good Life, “I love being at The Good Life! I have always felt a sense of community and inclusivity here. I love teaching because I can be myself and help children be confident in themselves as well. My favorite part is watching the light bulb moment when they learn something new and celebrating with them! I also enjoy seeing friendships grow inside and outside the classroom with the children and families. I believe in preschool being a strong foundation in a child’s first years, where they feel safe and excited for every day!”

Outside of the classroom, Nicole loves spending time with her two children, family, and friends. One of her favorite places to go is the beach. When she’s not teaching, you might find her on her family’s crop farm driving tractors, in Central Oregon at her grandparents’ ranch, or supporting her children in their endeavors. “Agriculture and children are who I am—I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

We love the organization and thoughtful planning Teacher Nicole brings to our teaching team and classroom each day!
